Why School Should Be About US Instead of ME1 min read

Our society desperately needs people who know how to work together. The workforce demands it, politics is mostly devoid of it, and social media has become a shouting match. Could this partially be because our education system, a system every single citizen goes through, is mostly about the individual?

Individual grades. Individual seating. Individual learning. Individual success.

What if school emphasized collaboration as much as how to solve for X? Would our world be a more productive, peaceful, and collaborative place?
